This Apricot Pepper Jam chicken has a sticky and delicious glaze that is sure to wow your backyard BBQ!
Grilled Apricot Chicken
Bone in skin on chicken pieces (breasts, thighs, legs, wings, etc)
Southern Roots Sisters Apricot Pepper Jam
Salt & Pepper
Whether you're using a charcoal, wood, or gas grill, you're going to want to use heavy duty foil sprayed with non-stick grilling spray. Spread your chicken evenly across the foil and season liberally with salt and pepper on both sides.
Grill chicken as usual, and halfway through begin to brush on a thin layer of Southern Roots Sisters Apricot Pepper Jam and repeat every 5-7 minutes turning chicken as normal.
Once chicken is fully cooked, the jam should be thick and glossy on the outside layer of the chicken. If you would like the glaze thicker, you can run under the broiler in the oven for 2-3 minutes to create an even thicker sauce. Enjoy!
