These little puff pastry danishes can be made with any of our jams and are a quick and easy snack or breakfast treat!
Puff Pastry Danishes
1 8 oz package brick of cream cheese
1/4 c sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 puff pastries thawed
2/3 c Southern Roots Sisters Apple Butter
Preheat oven to 425F. Beat first three ingredients together until smooth.
On a lightly floured surface, unfold each puff pastry and roll into a 12 inch square. Cut each into nine 4 inch squares. Place onto parchment lined baking sheets.
Top each square with 1 tablespoon cream cheese mixture and 1 rounded teaspoon of Apple Butter.
Bring two opposite corners of pastry over the filling, sealing the jam and cheese mixture inside. Brush tops with egg wash.
Bake until golden brown, 14-16 minutes. Enjoy!
